Reagan “peed” his pants
This is a picture I didn’t take of Reagan “peeing” his pants. I was laughing too hard at the time to take a picture. I briefly thought about it but decided that laughing and enjoying the moment was more important. In some ways, I’m bummed I didn’t snap the picture because it is a story that will live on in infamy, but, then again, taking a picture might have spoiled the moment. You see, Aidan and Reagan have a special bond. During the first months of Aidan’s life it seemed like he was constantly peeing or pooping on his dad. Reagan was a good sport about it and got very adept at anticipating and diverting Aidan’s bladder or bowel release but every so often Aidan got the better of him. This was one such time.
Here’s what happened. I was sitting on the couch not paying attention to the boys while Reagan was changing Aidan’s diaper. Suddenly I heard Reagan exclaim, “You’ve got to be freaking kidding me.” Concerned, I turned my head to see what was going on at the same time that Reagan rounded the couch giving me a full frontal view of him. The wet spot on the front of his pants told me where this story was going but I tried to keep a straight face long enough for Reagan to tell me himself. Aidan had somehow managed to turn just so while peeing sans diaper that it looked like Reagan had peed his pants. Aidan’s aim was dead on and for a little tike of about 2 months that is saying something. Poor Reagan didn’t know if he should laugh, be annoyed, or be proud of his little boy so I think he settled on a mixture of all three. His face was priceless as he registered each emotion separately and then settled on exasperation.
At least it wasn’t poop this time.

LOM Milestone
I just finished uploading, tagging, rating, and archiving all of my photos from 2009. It feels awesome. That was by far the biggest piece of this project and it feels wonderful to be able to check it off my list. I plan to alternate years until they are all done. 2001 and earlier. Check. 2003. Check. Next up is 2008 followed by 2002. 2007 will follow that and then 2005. I am going to wrap up my Library of Memories organization with 2006 pictures and make a wedding photo book.

First photo book
I created my first photo book this month. Using 29 scrapbook pages I have now documented a good portion of our holiday memories from 2009. I am so proud of myself. I can't believe I'm actually a really real scrapbooker. Go me!
